I cannot say enough good things about this super-sweet couple and their gorgeous Fort Worth wedding!

Rachael & Adam found me at a bridal show, and we instantly connected and quickly became friends.  Shortly after booking me, I got word from Rachael that they just didn’t know what they were going to do.  There was a possibility that the wedding was off and she would keep me updated — she just found out she was pregnant, and the baby’s due date was right before the wedding in October.  I talked with her a little bit, then got my gears going.  We were able to move the entire wedding up, and they had an absolutely perfect June wedding!

So now that the panic was over, the fun could begin.  We were able to incorporate Adam’s son, Jackson, in a gender-reveal portrait session.  We did it just like any family session, but at the end, Jackson held up the baby’s shoes, revealing the baby’s gender.  I released one on Facebook every hour or so leading up to that one image.  Check out the fun pictures we got over at The Harbor in Rockwall that day.

Next, we did an engagement session for just the two of them around Sundance Square in Fort Worth.  She STILL doesn’t look pregnant….

The big day arrived and the torrential rains that we had been having subsided just in time to give Rachael & Adam the perfect wedding day.  I was glad to see that Rachael was so calm and relaxed.  She was just enjoying her day.  She picked a great team of vendors to take care of her every need.

Kristen Wolchik, owner of Haute Floral, always does such an amazing job on her flowers.  She combines such unique textures to make the most beautiful, unusual combinations.

Rachael and Adam decided to have a first look before their ceremony.  This is where they get to see each other and we get his reaction before the ceremony starts.  It is such a sweet and intimate moment, and allows the couple to have a little moment together before the chaos of the day begins.  BTW, seeing each other before the wedding isn’t necessarily ‘bad luck’.  Tim and I saw each other and we are still happily married 10 years later  =)

Rachael’s dad saw her outside of the chapel and came in to give his baby girl a hug.  Such a lovely moment.

This is handsome little Jackson.  Doesn’t he look just like his daddy?

Rachael looked sooooo beautiful.  And see how proud Dad is to walk his little girl down the aisle?

I absolutely LOVE the Marty Leonard Chapel.

This is a new tradition that I really like.  It is a unity cross (instead of a unity candle).  The cross is made in two parts that, by themselves are nice, but couldn’t be complete without each other.

Ok, so my awesome second shooter was Jessica, but Jackson was a big help, too  =)  He is nearly 4 and knows how to turn on and off his grandma’s camera, and takes really good images.  He has the makings of becoming the next big thing to hit the photography world…  =)

Rachael and Adam set aside about an hour for us to hang out in Sundance Square and take pictures.  However, it was hot and Rachael wasn’t feeling well (remember, she is pregnant, even though you can’t tell…..)  =)  So, instead, we went to Starbucks and hung out for awhile.  We really had a lot of fun.  We even met a very interesting person… I’ll just leave it at that.  Relaxing at Starbucks before a Fort Worth Wedding Reception Fort Worth wedding reception at the Red Oak Ballroom on Sundance Square Fort Worth wedding reception at the Red Oak Ballroom on Sundance Square Fort Worth wedding reception at the Red Oak Ballroom on Sundance Square Fort Worth wedding reception at the Red Oak Ballroom on Sundance Square Fort Worth wedding reception at the Red Oak Ballroom on Sundance Square Fort Worth wedding reception at the Red Oak Ballroom on Sundance Square Fort Worth wedding reception at the Red Oak Ballroom on Sundance Square Fort Worth wedding reception at the Red Oak Ballroom on Sundance Square Fort Worth wedding reception at the Red Oak Ballroom on Sundance Square Fort Worth wedding reception at the Red Oak Ballroom on Sundance Square Fort Worth wedding reception at the Red Oak Ballroom on Sundance Square Fort Worth wedding reception at the Red Oak Ballroom on Sundance Square

Can you believe that woman is 29 weeks pregnant??  She looks fabulous.

Rachael and Adam, I feel so very privileged and honored that you selected me to capture your happy moments.  I am so glad that we have become friends over the last several months, and can’t wait to meet baby girl Woerner when she makes her grand entrance into this world.
