Carl has been a family friend of Tim and I for quite some time.  We met him when his beautiful daughter was only two years old.  It is amazing how time flies.  I was able to meet Bethany shortly after her and Carl started dating, and loved her instantly.  She is the sweetest girl with the kindest heart.  They both have a love of photography, too, which makes me all the more honored that they chose me to be their wedding photographer. Carl and Bethany did their engagement session with me back in the spring.  They certainly are naturals in front of the camera!  Check out these gorgeous shots we got in Highland Park. Instead, he invited Tim and my son, Cody, along as guests.   This was Cody’s first wedding.  They sat near the back.  Once Carl was at the alter and the moms were seated, the music stopped for a moment and changed songs for the precessional.  In that split second, my adorable son said as loud as he could in a quiet church, “Aaaallllll done!”  Needless to say, he got a chuckle or two. They did a very neat tradition that I don’t remember at any of my other weddings.  The minister asked the guests to stand for the couple as a way to dedicate their marriage.  They are to support and care for Bethany & Carl throughout their marriage.  It was quite beautiful.
